Oakridge's Vineyard Series matches particular varieties with specific sites to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines. This wine was sourced from the north-facing Henk Vineyard, sited in the red volcanic soils of Woori Yallock. Lifted and aromatic from the get-go with floral notes sitting with ripe green spicy notes. Think green papaya, nectarine skin, lime leaf and flint. The texture is very much medium bodied. Athletic and controlled yet lithe. It builds as it flows across the palate, better at every stage with more air. The intensity of the fruit flavours growing as the wine breathes. And there’s length to burn with the citrus acidity harmonizing with the savoury elements to the finish. A complete and polished wine.
