Aromas and flavours jump out of the bottle in this 2016 Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 750ml. The nose is reminiscent of a forrest after rain with earthy notes and wafts of forrest berries. This cabernet shiraz has a bold structure and cellars extremely well. Medium deep colour. Classical Bin 389 with fresh blackcurrant, blackberry, dark chocolate aromas and roasted chestnut, mocha notes. Deep set dark chocolate, elderberry, blackcurrant fruits , plentiful fine chocolatey textures, lovely mid palate buoyancy and mocha, roasted coconut oak complexity.
