Penfolds - RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz 2011

First vintaged in 1997 after several years of ‘Red Winemaking Trials', RWT is somewhat of a new-comer, however this impressive Shiraz is now a fully fledged member of the Luxury release each year for Penfolds. RWT is opulent and fleshy, a pointer to the single origin of this trademark wine, the Barossa Valley. The fruit for RWT is selected for its aromatic qualities and fine texture; characters which are on show in the 2011 vintage. Fragrant flavours of blackberries and ripe cherry combine with dark chocolate and vanilla to provide another exceptional RWT.
